The Spice Girls songstress, who can’t see on her left side after botched laser surgery, reportedly suffered a loss of vision in her right eye on Friday.
According to The Sun, sources at London’s Moorfields Eye Hospital said Mel, real named Melanie Brown, arrived wearing an eye-patch and said: “I can’t see anything — I am totally blind.”
They added: “She was clearly in a lot of pain.”
It’s claimed the 43-year-old singer was transferred to Luton and Dunstable Hospital’s ophthalmology department.

Luckily, her vision came back and reportedly, against doctor’s orders, Mel joined the rest of her Spice Girls bandmates to rehearse for their upcoming tour.
It’s alleged Mel will need further treatment though, including more hospital visits – which could through the tour into chaos.
The insider continued: “Mel was in a really bad way. The other girls and their managers were really worried.
“Mel was frantic and screaming that she couldn’t see a thing. She went to the hospital in a chauffeur-driven car with an assistant, who was holding her hand.”
It is unknown if the loss of vision is linked to her previous sight problems.
The Spice World 2019 tour will see Mel, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Melanie C (Chisholm) re-form the belt out some of their classic hits, including Wannabe, 2 Become 1 and Mama.
Victoria Beckham won’t be joining the girls though, as she concentrates on her fashion empire.
The tour kicks off at Dublin’s Croke Park on Friday May 24 before shows in Cardiff, Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and Wembley Stadium.
Daily Star Online has contacted a representative of Mel for comment.
