It was revealed that Miranda Lambert did not give her ex-husband, Blake Shelton a heads-up nor an invitation for that matter about her rapid wedding and a source close to the country singer spoke to PEOPLE Magazine and explained that he was not interested in receiving one either.
After a handful of months of dating, Brendan Mcloughlin, who recently had a baby, wed Miranda. The source, who spoke to PEOPLE, said Miranda’s ex-husband sees her as the past and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, is his future.
The person claimed: “He put Miranda in his rear view mirror long ago. Miranda brings nothing positive to his life. Their marriage ended, and he moved on. Ever since he is grateful every day.”
The family friend went on to reveal: “Blake and Gwen really don’t care either way about Miranda’s marriage. It was much easier for Blake to move on than Miranda. It took her a very, very long time to really get over Blake, and it hurt so badly to see Blake move on quickly with Gwen, but she’s very happy now.”
Another source told Hollywood Life and revealed that Blake erased his former spouse from his life several years ago.
The insider shared: “Blake has completely moved on and had a long time ago. To see Miranda get married is almost like a relief to him. She was a big part of his life for quite a while and only wants good things for her, but he’s not paying attention at all. He’s happier than ever with Gwen.”
Miranda, who was involved in a nasty fight in a restaurant last week, tried to change the negative headlines by dropping the bombshell that she had secretly gotten married.
The diva posted a few pictures from the ceremony and captioned them: “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me.”
Now the world is focused on when will Blake propose to Gwen — the pair have been dating for three years now.
