Yesterday, Maho appeared on stage and bowed to fans as she apologised for speaking out about the alleged incident.

The shocking attack reportedly occurred last month, but Maho did not publicly address it until this week.

In a heartbreaking video shared on fanpage – Mimiki Kupo to their 13.8K followers – Maho can be seen crying claiming someone in NGT48 had leaked her personal details, causing the two men to find her location.

Maho said she decided to speak out after her management failed to respond to her complaints.

The band’s management denied that another member of the group leaked her address to the attackers.

NGT48 are what is known as an ‘idol group’ made up of 48 members, of which Maho is the ‘team leader.’

The group’s style falls under the category of J-Pop, which is a similar style to K-Pop.

According to AnimeNewsNetwork, police claim the men deny the assault, stating they “Just wanted to talk with her.”

The two men were later released without charge.
