Former ‘NCIS’ Star Pauley Perrette Slams Donald Trump! He Is The ‘Opposite Of Jesus’

Former NCIS star Pauley Perrette got political this past week on social media before the midterm elections, and she shared a lengthy message with her followers about President Donald Trump. Perrette wrote that Trump was the “opposite of Jesus” and called him a “mean, mean man.”

“Where is Jesus when voting for someone who does the opposite of Jesus? I’m serious. I’m a faith-driven person. Jesus didn’t make fun of people, say horribly mean things, spread hate about race, women, handicapped and pretty much any target that makes the hateful cheer,” wrote Perrette.

She also wrote that as a Christian she was happy with her vote, and she was happy to vote against Trump and his pals because cruelty is wrong. Perrette added a Bible verse from Matthew 16:26 that asks what will profit a man if he gains the whole world but forfeits his soul.

According to Fox News, Perrette has never been shy about sharing her political views, and she also posted a video of herself from 2012 where she talked about Republicans attacking former President Barack Obama during his time in office. In the clip, she talked about Obama doing everything he could to restore the economy, and it continues to get better.

She shared the video again on Twitter, explaining in the caption that things are worse now and urging people to vote against bigotry and misogyny.

The 49-year-old actress made headlines this past summer when she left NCIS after fifteen seasons on the show playing the role of Abby Sciuto. She had announced her departure a year earlier, and CBS ended up replacing Perrette with newcomer Diona Reasonover. However, the network did say that Perrette had a terrific run on NCIS and they were going to miss her.

Since she left NCIS, Perrette hasn’t made any appearances on other shows. But, her former co-star Michael Weatherly says that we should see her return to the small screen soon. Weatherly says that Perrette will be back “in some capacity” because people are missing her, and she will return “funnier than ever.”

In the meantime, Perrette is warning fans about a scam involving the use of her name. She recently tweeted that there were fake ads on Facebook promoting her skincare line, but she doesn’t have a skincare line, and she is not on Facebook.

Pauley Perrette also gave some advice to Reasonover, telling her that she should be herself on NCIS, and to not be afraid to “go in there and have fun with it.”

New episodes of NCIS air Tuesday nights on CBS.
