A few days ago, Kenya Moore told her fans that she was facing a scary complication during her pregnancy. She told everyone via social media that she may have to deliver her baby early since she may be suffering from severe preeclampsia.
Preeclampsia is a condition during pregnancy where there is a sudden rise in blood pressure and swelling, mostly in the face, hands, and feet.
Unfortunately, her tests came back, and the diagnosis is preeclampsia indeed.
She announced fans that she would have to deliver the baby early, but she made sure to tell everyone that she’s in good hands and she is being closely monitored. Check out her post below:
Someone wrote in the comments section ‘I had it three times back to back, that’s no joke! Prayers going up to her!🙏🏾😢’
Another follower of TSR said that ‘it can happen at any age tbh. A better way to say it is, because of her age she was automatically high risk, that’s a fact. Doctors always say the older, the higher risk. She’s done amazing so far I’m hoping everything is gonna be ok ♥️.’
One other commenter wrote ‘Preeclampsia is the most common thing that happens to pregnant women. As long as she works with her doctors, she will do great. If it develops to eclampsia, then we def have to worry, that can cause the mother to go into a coma or even die. Regardless pray for sis.’
We’re keeping our fingers crossed for Kenya, and she is in our prayers as well. We hope that everything turns out fine and both she and the baby will be okay.
