Vancouver Weather: Sunny weather to last through weekend

Environment Canada is forecasting a long stretch of sunny weather for Metro Vancouver.

VANCOUVER, B.C. –  It looks like another sunny day for Metro Vancouver Thursday, with a high of 18 C inland, and 15 C closer to the water. The sunshine is likely to stick around through to the weekend, and then continue until at least Wednesday, according to Environment Canada. Friday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud, with a high again of 15 C. Then on the weekend, Saturday looks sunny and clear, with a high of 15 C, while Sunday will be partly cloudy, with a high of 14 C. The federal weather agency says the mercury is set to spike on Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs near the water of 16 C and 17 C, respectively.
